Sadly I doubt you can get rights for at least two of these.

Stavisky and Milan are not currently in release on DVD which for a foreign
film in particular is a bad sign. They ( Miracle in Milan & Stavisky) are
very well known films which have been in distribution in the pas*t Le
Soeurces was released as Me and My Sister by Lions Gate so double check
with Swank or try Lions Gate but the other two are likely impossible * As
major films that had been in distribution but are not even out on DVD this
pretty much screams European rights holder and again with Stavisky and
Milan being very famous films this is likely a case of they want too much
money or perhaps a rights issue, Les Soeurs is more likely a case of just
not being bought for US release. Bottom line is honestly can't get the
rights. If you put in some effort you could probably track down each rights
holder but the odds that they would agree to allow a college to show films
they have completely kept off the US market is to say the least remote.

Alas not everything can be shown in the US and in fact I would guess over
98% or more of films made outside the US are currently available for
showing. In some cases ( Quartier Mozart being a recent example) you can
track the rights holder and make a deal but I can't imagine this is the
case with Milan or Stavisky. They are just going to have to find other
films to show.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
