Actually as Suzanne pointed out it was never their film. Film was released by Vitagraph and DVD by Image. Since you want streaming you should in fact contact Vitagraph. I am not sure if that site is up to date but if you have any problems I can track a contact down for you.
Word of advice, many companies like this really do not understand the concept of selling streaming rights for educational use on a university based server. They mean no harm but some may either blow you off or quote a crazy price. I would explain it in basic terms and give them examples of similar films you have licensed. I don't know the Vitagraph people but I suspect they would amenable and I am not being facetious when I say the FIRST thing to make clear is that you are willing to pay a reasonable fee for it. Should get their attention. On Tue, Feb 18, 2014 at 1:29 PM, Anna Goslen <[email protected]>wrote: > Criterion Pictures USA. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
