OK since I am not selling anything I am putting this on videolib. I am
working with BBC on theatrical and non theatrical bookings ( so please do
not ask me anything about PPR , when something is coming out etc). August
will mark the 100th Anniversary of the start of WW1 and BBC has been
working for years on a huge variety of video and audio programs both drama
and documentary that they will showing in the UK over the next 4 years. To
kick this off they are showing 3 of the best completed shows in theatrical
venues in August. They are willing to consider universities and libraries
provided they don't conflict with the theatrical shows.
I don't mean to be too cryptic but these are terrific shows NONE has been
shown in the US and none are available on DVD. They can only be shown in
August, no admission can be charged and they WANT as much outreach to the
public to come as venues can generate.

If you are interested please contact me at the email below ( better than my
standard one for this) and I can provide details

PS no you don't get to keep them this is only for one time showing

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
