You could also look at as the vendor knowing that Robin Williams titles will be 
in high demand (especially at public libraries) and letting the libraries know 
that they have titles available (possibly for immediate shipment) should they 
need more asap.  I know in our library system--almost ALL Robin Williams titles 
were checked out by yesterday afternoon.  Deaths do drive interest and demand.

I just received a promotional email from a DVD vendor hawking Robin Williams 
titles. I will have enough decorum not to mention the vendor (you know who you 
are) 



To me, capitalizing on someone’s death is the utmost in poor taste. What is 
this world coming to when a personal tragedy morphs into an opportunity to make 
a few bucks??
