Meghann, I used GreenDisk a couple of years ago and was pleased with their service. I had two medium sized U-Haul boxes of VHS tapes, and the process for sending them was easy. The only hard part on our end was determining exactly how heavy the boxes were. We had a few pounds in excess of their limit for the base price in both boxes. Once we determined the weight, using their website to pay for shipping was a breeze. Their customer service folks were very nice and helpful. Would do business with them again if I had more VHS to discard. I think they take CDs/DVDs as well. Good luck.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
