Wasn't planning to attending ALA Midwinter this year, but a sudden change of plans….
Mom, who lives in Chicago western burbs (and is 101!) has been quite ill. Out of ICU now and in a nursing facility for a couple weeks. So I am making a quick visit that overlaps with ALA Midwinter.
