Subject: Fair Use Week Website Launch

Hi All,

I'm happy to announce that the Fair Use Week website is now live:
http://fairuseweek.org/

You can submit news, blog posts and resources under the "sign up or sign in"
button or via this page: http://fairuseweek.org/submit/ Please do fill in the
fields including author name and organization when you submit. Posts are
moderated, so it may take some time before they are approved, but I will try to
approve them as soon as possible.

I have tried to incorporate the list of events we have received as well as
listing the participating organizations thus far. If your event was sent to me
before Wednesday and is not listed, please let me know! (Those that were sent
to me yesterday will go up this evening).

As the fair use week events progress, please do send pictures for posting!

If you have any questions or have trouble with the site, please let me know. I
am very excited for next week!

All best,
Krista

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
