For the large Section 108 due diligence project(s) Jane Hutchison (William Paterson U), Chris Lewis (American U) and I are doing on our sabbaticals, we are building a database to store the information.
It will include titel, series title, publisher, distributor, locations searched, dates, notes fields, and a variety of other data elements. We are beta testing the database now. After we have completed our projects it is our intention to open the database to the general public (thru registration) with ability to read what is already there, and to enter additional data. More information to follow as we progress. deg farrelly ShareStream Administrator/Media Librarian Arizona State University Libraries Tempe, AZ 85287-1006 602.332.3103 On 4/1/15 1:00 PM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > >Dear videolib, > >Where do you store the documentation of your VHS replacement searching? > >Thanks for any responses you can provide on or off list! VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
