Hello Sue

At Alexander Street, we have a range of International Disaster Videos which
can be accessed either individually via our Academic Video Store or as part
of Engineering Case Studies Online - a collection that focuses on
international engineering failures and disasters. We have the BBC film
FUKUSHIMA: IS NUCLEAR POWER SAFE which looks at the impact of the disaster
in Fukushima but also in comparison with other key nuclear sites such as
Chernobyl which suffered its own disaster in 1986. We have a number of
documentaries on Chernobyl including the Journeyman title, CHILDREN OF
CHERNOBYL. You can also obtain video material on other key disasters such
as the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, Bhopal and the Piper Alpha disaster in
Scotland.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
