Hello,

A faculty member is looking for the following:

"I'm looking for a short documentary on the social structure in Chile. Anything
about the gaps between rich and poor or some related issue will do. Preferably
around the mid 20th century (the civic strife before, during, or after
Allende). But actually, any time period will do. This is contextual material
for a play I'm teaching for a Gen-Ed course. We do have the Battle for Chile,
but that focuses more on the civil war there. I'm looking for something more
general."

I don't know these films but through a search I thought When the People Awake
and The Evolution of Chile: Prosperity for Some might work.

Do you have any suggestions?

Many thanks,

Anne

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
