We are a small Christian college. Our health center does a sexuality series
and would like to start including feature films that introduce LGBT themes,
especially coming out, father/son relationships, mother/daughter relationships
and transgender issues. We have several students who struggle with their sexual
identity. If you have any suggestions that would work for a Christian college,
please respond. It does NOT have to be a religious or Christian film but these
films will be part of a campus discussion and would prefer films that can lead
to a civil discourse. For example, we are showing the film Milk, discussing
homosexuals, history and politics. Especially helpful would be any foreign
films that would show the diversity of treatment of the LGBT community in other
countries.

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
