Thought you would all like to know about this. We contributed a film
to the set.
About the Project
"L.A Rebellion" refers to a group of filmmakers of African origin or
descent who together produced a rich, innovative, sustained and
intellectually rigorous body of work. Coming out of UCLA, they
envisioned a new independent cinema, sensitive to the real lives of
Black communities in the U.S. and worldwide. While the L.A. Rebellion
produced a host of feature films, this DVD set focuses on the many
short films produced by the group, representing a broad range of
filmmakers. Learn more

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
