Hi everyone, I am looking for sample assignments for a required survey film class. If you ever took such a class and actually enjoyed or learned something from an assignment in that class, or perhaps, you have worked with a film instructor on an assignment, please let me know. Generally, I am looking for an assignment that would require some sort of learning outcome relating to information literacy...i.e. an annotated bibiliography, writing a film review, or scholarly vs popular sources, etc. Thanks for any ideas! rhonda

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control, preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and distributors.
