Amy,

If you're accustomed to searching Amazon, it could be helpful to search in
the various national versions of the site (e.g. amazon.de, amazon.fr,
amazon.co.uk). Obviously, the UK site is the best bet for English
subtitles, but some of the German and French releases will have subtitles
as well. With France, these aren't always listed and you may need to do
some additional research to determine subtitle availability.

Another site to check is daaveedee.com, which is located in the U.S. and
specializes in international DVD releases.

All best,
Brian Boling

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
