The deadline for proposal submissions for the 2017 Kraemer Copyright
Conference has been extended to January 31, 2017.

This year's conference theme is Copyright Collaborations: Education,
Advocacy, and Creation. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for educators
(K-12, university, public librarians), students, and legal experts to share
knowledge and best practices on U.S. Copyright Law and how it impacts us
every day. You can learn more about the conference by visiting our website:
http://www.uccs.edu/copyright/kraemerconference2017.html.

*Proposal Submission *

We are seeking proposals for exceptional break-out sessions, poster
sessions, and contributed papers on copyright issues and best practices.
Topics should be related to the conference theme and address some type of
copyright issue or a related topic such as legal issues, open access,
scholarly communications, licensing issues, and collaboration. You can
submit your proposal here: http://www.uccs.edu/copyright/
kraemerconference2017/proposals.html.

If you have any questions about the conference or proposal submission
process please do not hesitate to contact me!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
