Maybe, check init (/etc/init.d/)
Debian co' chu+o+ng tri`nh modconf kha' thu' vi. Thu+? $ modconf maybe...

& make sure you have right permission on device files (/dev/mixer,
/dev/dsp or /dev/snd/*)
