"annouce" mailing list. But it doesn't seem like the website is being used
much yet and the mailing list doesn't yet seem to be distributing
submissions. So, because many at the SaigonLUG meeting indicated they were
VietLUG members, i'm sending this to the VietLUG-users mailing list as

PS: I was a bit disappointed i didn't see *any* of the old SaigonLUGgers at
the meeting. Though i must admit i (also?) felt a bit put off by the idea
of some northerners coming down here to show us how to get our group
together (especially after all the times our efforts have been sidelined
while the northern powers-that-be put all available resources into promoting
their own) kick-starting a southern Vietnamese-language LUG still seems like
a worthwhile effort -- and i suspect i'm not the only vet' who's still
feeling a bit *overly* frustrated by what's come before. Am i wrong?
