I have now uploaded the API docs under api/. I have also included the releases in the repository so that everything (except the builds) is recorded there. That put the size up to 5.6 MiB, not so bad I think. I would normally not commit such binary files, but in this case these files are the actual data files for the website, so I think it is okay. And we can in principle strip them out again if there is a real demand. The doc/index.html page should now be updated and we can also make a api/index.html page with a short explaination. There are probably other places in the documentation that needs an update -- feel free to jump in and help here! -- Martin Geisler
