I couldn't seem to find a way to reply on SF. Guilhem BONNEFILLE asked, It seems you ran "out of memory". Can you give more details? Length of the track? Zoom level requested?.
It doesn't seem to matter what length or zoom level I request. However, the
shorter the track the faster it crashes.
Since submitting the bug report I repeated the tests with top running in a
terminal window. Viking would peg out the cpu at 96%.
I have attached a data file that I used to try and answer your questions with.
