I've just merged my 'help' branch on 'master'. The help content is based on wiki UserManual page (I did my best to create a clean DocBook document with all these info, but there is certainly things to fix). This help is also accessible via Help->Help. :-)
guessing that this commit caused the issue belong git pull ... ~/SOFTWARE/VIKING/viking > ./autogen.sh You need to install gnome-common from the GNOME CVS This doesn't seem to be mentioned in NEWS. Surely you don't really mean 'CVS' - it's crazy for viking to depend on anything like this that hasn't been released and stable for a while. My packaging system has 2.28.0, and that seemed to work. Is that ok? The good news is that running from git as of a few minutes ago seems to work.
