If you use geotagging a lot and your images are vaguely sorted into
directories, then this perl script I've been using for quite a while can come
in handy.

So I thought it might be useful for others and hence I've put into github

NB it's in the tools directory:
http://github.com/rnorris/viking/tree/ImagesToWaypointsTool

More detail:
Simply recursively search down the directory tree (from the current location)
for suitable image files
[normally jpg|JPG (probably photographs)] and then extract any location data
from the EXIF part.

For each directory this info is output to a file into either Viking (default)
or GPX data file formats.
Output filename is waypoints.vik (or waypoints.gpx in GPX mode) unless the -o
option is specified.

Be Seeing You - Rob.
If at first you don't succeed,
then skydiving isn't for you.
