I fully agree this. Viking claims to be a visualizer and editor for GPS data, but it is not really user friendly on this aspect. Or at least, nowadays other softwares have such feature with really different feeling. So, it is a necessary refactoring for viking. Perhaps something before viking 2.0? :-) > I often find myself to add points to tracks like this with gpsbabel > to have more track points available to be able to drag them around > in viking to rearange the original track: > > gpsbabel -i gpx -f track.gpx -x interpolate,distance=0.2m -o gpx -F > track.interpolated.gpx It seems to be an interesting feature. Furthermore, I think it could be really easy to add this directly on viking, as a "filter" on the track. -- Guilhem BONNEFILLE -=- JID: gu...@im.apinc.org MSN: guilhem_bonnefi...@hotmail.com -=- mailto:guilhem.bonnefi...@gmail.com -=- http://nathguil.free.fr/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Make an app they can't live without Enter the BlackBerry Developer Challenge http://p.sf.net/sfu/RIM-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Viking-devel mailing list Viking-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/viking-devel Viking home page: http://viking.sf.net/
