One other note on DRGs in case it isn't clear.

When one selects "New GeoRef Map Layer," the tfw
file that listgeo creates is the "World File Parameters" file
specified in the "New GeoRef Map Layer" dialog box.

Also, a bunch of free DRGs seem to be available at:

if one is looking for USGS DRGs...
