Hi, 2011/8/1 Alain Bastien <alainbast...@gmail.com>: > How do I downloan maps for Viking GSP ? > I am using it on a Sony Vaio P Series With GPS enabled > I Have OS's Ununtu 11.04 and Windows Vista Home installed
First of all, you have to add a "Map" layer and select a map's source. Following your needs, select an auto-download. When you validate this layer, map will be downloaded (or you will need to right click the layer and request a map refresh). For more support, feel free to use the mailing-list, many users will help you to begin with viking. You can also give a look at viking's manual: http://sourceforge.net/projects/viking/files/viking/1.2.1/viking.pdf/download And most of all, feel free to share your experience and report issues.
