Not even WinXP's notepad can handle LF only.

I believe a similar technique is used in CVS. All that is
needed, is to mark the appropriate files (.txt, .c, .h,
.mak, etc.).
So perhaps we should continue using CVS then? Seeing as how it got so
much right...
