I like the talk pages approach, but I have to agree with you. {{review}} is best
on the main page.

Well. I like it being obstrusive in red. It just means a little work is still
required. And that way we don't miss it. However, it's true all the editing
advices/guidelines could be moved to the edit page (as long as there is the
{{review}} tag) -- if possible.

That's a good idea.
BTW, it could be nice to find tips that are only in [[Category:VimTip]] (or
review). That means they are tips that needs to be categorized.
