Sorry, but I felt it was (and is) important to gather as many people as possible. I'm anticipating that a lot of the old mailing list crowd will have lost the habit after all this time (particularly since there was such an absence of news on vim.org). If someone can arrange the Sitenotice, that would be good. Otherwise, please try to put up with TipNews for another couple of weeks. I guess we could remove it from Main_Page now, if that would help.
