I'm thinking that the wiki will show one list of Category:C tips, that I'd have to look through. Then (later), I'd have to show the Category:C++ list, and look through that. I would find that 95% of the latter tips were ones that I'd already looked at (but I'd have to be very alert to be sure). So, I think there is a problem for readers interested in both C and C++. However, I don't think the issue is really important. It looks to me as if there is no really good solution (as I just mentioned in another message, I had hoped that a parent Cfamily would fix things, but now I don't think it helps).
