The redirect will not work because it points to an invalid title. Percent symbols can not be used in article titles. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_%28technical_restrictions%29#Percent> http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/Special:BrokenRedirects shows broken redirects (though it doesn't seem to work for this one - it might only show those that point to blank pages, not invalid pages).
