Yes... but unfortunately there is a fair amount of tips where the
original indentation itself is quite bad :)

I have tried it, but when I click on the "ee" tab it starts the download
of a page containing something like this:

[Process]
Type=Edit text
Engine=MediaWiki
Script=http://vim.wikia.com/index.php
Server=http://vim.wikia.com
Path=
Special namespace=Special

[File]
Extension=wiki
URL=http://vim.wikia.com/index.php?title=User:Ipkiss/Using_vim_to_edit_tips&action=edit&internaledit=true

Needless to say, this is not what I expect :)
Interestingly, in the preferences there is an option to use an external
editor, which exhibits exactly the same behaviour.

So I think I will keep using ViewSourceWith at the moment (or give the
WikipediaFS a try).

I suppose admins have a way to export the wiki contents to files, it
would make your life easier. Or you could as well try WikipediaFS,
which seems to do just that (over HTTP).

Do we really need to categorize all the non-tip pages as well?
If so, what about a "Meta" category?
