Take care: If it trashes something, you will have to tidy up by hand...
You should add a user for that bot (something like "JohnsBot"). Tom Purl 
(or any bureaukrat) can set a "botflag" for that user, and the changes 
wont appear in the recent changes. (imagine 1500 changes by you at 
once ...)

Sounds good. Perhaps could also live in category as the "guidelines".
