That's a seriously good idea. Ditto for the {{SuggestedCategory}}.
Your other point that it would be good to have a general review before a
bulk renaming or category shifting is exactly what I had in mind.
I'll think some more about this, but I'll mention what I was contemplating.
I plan to create two lists of titles: (1) Titles that are probably good
enough so we don't have to worry about changing them now, and (2) Shocking
or broken titles that need to be fixed (there are well over 200 of these).
I'm not sure how to publish the title lists. Either on a wiki page, or a web
site somewhere (Bastl - I was wondering about maybe vimplugin).
Then I was going to ask for suggestions by email, which I would update on
the wiki or web. After some consensus, a bot would do the page moving and
fixing of the VimTip redirection pages.
I was thinking of something similar for categories, although categories will
require more thought. I'm hoping that we can improve the titles with just a
quick look at the tips concerned.
I'll think about {{SuggestedTitle}} - that might be good for longer term
work. I was thinking, however, that we need to fix more than 200 titles
fairly soon, and working through a list of titles (with a clickable link to
the tip) might be easier. You would just keep a text file where each line is
of the form "<TipId><space><Suggested title>", and you would email that to
me periodically.
