There was a discussion about what to call the category for C++. "C plus plus" was chosen. Now I'm looking at the tip titles and am wondering about those that want to use "C++".
Example "STL (Standard Template Library/C++) help via tags": http://vim.wikia.com/wiki/VimTip931 Why did we decide to use "C plus plus" for the category? Wikipedia seems able to use "C++". The following article is in Category:C++ due to this wikitext: [[Category:C++]] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C++ The Wikipedia rules for titles say that '+' can be a problem (and it gives examples where that occurs). But it seems that "C++" is ok for everyday usage. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(technical_restric tions)#Plus Can anyone throw any light on this? Does the wikia.com software handle "+" differently from Wikipedia?
