When running pdflatex, if the resulting document is already open in Adobe Reader, then the compilation stops. This is a known problem with Adobe Reader which locks .pdf files for writing.
Producing a hack to close Adobe Reader is easy enough, but it's no use to me, because I always have multiple documents open. This problem was solved years ago by WinEdt, albeit via DDE, so I'm surprised to see it with the latex suite. Is there a known fix?
