Hi all, I just wanted to write a short email to the list about what I have been up to.
First off, I am sorry that I haven't been active at all for the last several months. I have been going through a turbulent period. First off, the good news is that I finally finished my PhD from Berkeley (I am now a fake doctor) and presently employed at the Mathworks, the makers of MATLAB and Simulink. All of this has kept me immensely busy for the last many months as you might imagine. I therefore, completely dropped off the software world. However, I am now "settled" into my job and have fallen into a regular schedule. I am going to start maintaining vim-latex once again. I hope that it continues to be of use to people. Now that I am no longer a graduate student, I have to be a bit more systematic about dividing time between work and voluntary vim-latex maintenance. For the short term, I want to migrate vim-latex to vim7. I will hopefully soon have a version which works with vim7 and takes advantage of some of vim7's features. I would like help beta-testing it etc. It does rely a bit heavily on vim being built with python support. I will keep you updated... Please have patience while I get back into the game.
