Huh... I clicked "Edit as New" in Thunderbird and assumed it would get 
rid of any references to the old message ID.... I guess I assumed wrong. 
  I figured "New" would mean "New," but I guess I can see how some 
people would be upset if "New" really meant "New," but then they could 
have used a different word.
