Hi everybody,
Thanks to the comment from another user I have complemented my functions
by the following function calls:
call Tex_SetTeXCompilerTarget('Compile',g:Tex_DefaultTargetFormat)
call Tex_SetTeXCompilerTarget('View',g:Tex_DefaultTargetFormat)
Now everything works as expected.
