Yes! Thank you. The file extension of my input files is '.inp', and I 
did not notice that the LaTeX-Suite had to be started manually. Very 
sorry for having been so careless. I should have seen that the menu was 
a standard gvim menu :-(

Additional question: is there a system to list all the labels not as 
they are in the document structure, bu alfabetically? I tried an 
internal/external "sort" but 'modifiable' is off and so it does not work.
