I know that I am also having trouble with the tabline stuff.  After a =
period of time it will cause Vim7 to loop out and crash unless I catch it w=
ith C-C, and clear 'tabline'.

I don't think this is my other problem, though, since turning off
'tabline' doesn't help the keystroke lag, and the tabline isn't
checked keystroke per keystroke, as far as I can tell.
