for? :)

Well, you can can do many things with .vunrc ....
it's fairly magical ....... depends on your demands .............
You can use it to store lines of text! And would you believe
me that every line of text you put into it, you can
retrieve later exactly as you put it in ?

It can also contain artwork in a variety of formats, most notably, the nearly lost art-form of "ASCII art".

They can even change the behavior of vim, using dark magic:

        :so .vunrc

which will trigger vim's "sorcery" command, conforming Vim to the will of the one casting this spell.

Just a few more insights into the mystery of .vunrc files...

Personally, I think they're a conspiracy of the right to move their political position a little more to the left... ;)
