I just downloaded sources from svn and built gvim:
  VIM - Vi IMproved 7.0 (2006 May 7, compiled Oct 11 2006 20:40:37)
MS-Windows 32 bit GUI version with OLE support
  Included patches: 1-131

  1) First line of :help netrw is:

*pi_netrw.txt* For Vim version 7.0. Last change: 2006 May 02

  2) :sf . results in a buffer with the following line:

      " Netrw Directory Listing [white-space] (netrw v98)

Recently, Dr. Chip wrote he is coordinating releases with Bram.

So is the last release of netrw really v98 or is svn not picking
  up the latest runtime files?
