Hi,

The vim.sf.net has a script search feature which can sort by Rating,
Downloads, Name and Creation date. And can be filtered by type.

If we want to see in the specified category which scripts has been updated
(or created) recently, the only way seems to choose the creation date and
decending order. However this will only show scripts recently "created" not
the scripts recently "updated".

For example, there're 374 syntax scripts and I want to see which has been
updated or created since January 1st 2006. This seems to be a reasonable
query but I've got no idea how to do it.

Vim.sf.net does not do that as currently configured, insofar as I am aware.

However, for updating plugins, may I refer you to getscript.vim, previously
known as GetLatestVimScripts.vim, available at

 http://mysite.verizon.net/astronaut/vim/index.html#VimFuncs ,
 see "getscript.vba.gz"

 http://vim.sourceforge.net/scripts/script.php?script_id=642

It will go through your list of plugins in which you've expressed an interest and get the latest ones.

Regards,
Chip Campbell
