Best thing I can recommend is the visual mode marks. '< marks the
beginning of a visual selection; '> marks the end.

I probably did not say clearly what I meant. I want to boormark
varuous places in the the file, and then cycle through
those bookmarks. It's very different from visual selection.
I'd like bookmarks to be auto-saved/restores when I quit/start vim.
