jump from word to word

Hi all,

"w" jumps from word to word. However, it considers German umlauts
(äöüÄÖÜ) and German sz (ß) as word end. For example, "w" stops at the
indicated positions:

    Schwämme überall.
    ^   ^^   ^^     ^

However, I would desire instead:

    Schwämme überall.
    ^        ^      ^

Any idea how to teach Vim to consider special characters as mentioned
above as "normal" letters?
