Hello,

I have recently installed VIM 7.0 on my computer which has Windows Vista and
every time I try to edit a text file with VIM it opens a blank file with the
following message on the bottom of the screen:

“-C” [New File]

Please let me know of how to overcome this problem so that I can edit files
properly with VIM. I have used the default _vimrc file which is attached with
this email as a text file.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Many thanks,

Al
