problem you cannot edit any file *.vim
I originated the thread that Greg responded to, but had since forgotten the
solution (one of them anyway)
In the directory containing gvim.exe create a dummy file tcl84.dll
touch tcl84.dll
or
gvim tcl84.dll
This will completely disable the TCL interface, won't it?
