Since you said something about "clicking", I'll assume you're using a GUI version of vim. You should be able to simply double-click on any of the help files you see in the main :help file. When you're not using the mouse, you can position your cursor at the link, and type Ctrl-]. Use Ctrl-T or Ctrl-O to back up.
