Hi all, I am one of the student who was working on a fast regexp engine this summer (as one of the Google SOC programs). After school registration stuff, now, I want to continue working on it.
The current status: while the new engine works fine with plain ASCII, it lacks support for multibyte characters right now. I am confused by the multibyte routines in Vim's code.
