:-)

The FTP/rsync server is in the Netherlands, Bram used to live in the
Netherlands and now has a job in Switzerland, I'm in Belgium... Here in
Continental Europe, Hallowe'en is a rather new importation, brought from the
States by the marketing departments of toy stores and such; it isn't a deep
ingrained tradition. We have All Saint's Day (1st November), and the Day of
the Dead (2nd November), but they are "traditionally" used for an annual visit
to the cemeteries (call it a lingering "cult of the ancestors" if you will),
and for Catholics maybe a Midnight Mass, but nothing spooky or magic about
that. The traditional day for pranks is April Fools' Day.

Best regards,
Tony.
