This is not the first time, that I think the default completions , be
it <C-X>
or commandline, should be exposed via functions. And it should be
possible
to override these by some options (holding an expression ).
Then it would be possible to filter the buildin completions and have
them
act anyway you want. ( case-insenitive file completion, regex-based
completion,
filename completion based on the wd of the buffer,ect. pp ).
